Atomic Factories specializes in low-cost Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) metal 3D printing. Our process combines precision engineering with cutting-edge software to deliver industrial-grade metal parts with exceptional quality.

Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF)

Our LPBF process produces fully dense metal parts layer by layer:

  • Powder Spreading: A thin layer of metal powder is spread across the build plate
  • Laser Fusion: A high-power laser selectively melts and fuses the powder to form each cross-section
  • Layer by Layer: The build plate lowers and the process repeats until the part is complete

This approach produces fully dense, near-net-shape metal parts with excellent mechanical properties and minimal post-processing required.

Materials

We currently offer:

  • 316L Stainless Steel: Excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and weldability. Ideal for tooling, fixtures, enclosures, brackets, and functional prototypes
  • Coming Soon: AlSi10Mg, Ti-6Al-4V, and 17-4 PH stainless steel. More materials launching soon
  • Custom Materials: Contact us for specialized alloys and material requirements
